The Great Bieszczady Loop
The Great Bieszczady Loop, a road, also called the Great Bieszczady Bypass, was built by the army in 1955-1962. The purpose of this construction was to restore normal life to areas cut off from the world, which had come to a standstill after Operation Wisła in 1947. The Loop Route leads through the highest and most beautiful parts of the Bieszczady Mountains. The views are breathtaking, and the extremely atmospheric Bieszczady towns allow you to discover the true atmosphere of these places.
